Laughing Laughing is indicative of grief, or it was said that it is glad tidings ofa child, because Allah says: “She laughed [either, because the messengers did not eattheir food or for being glad for the destruction of the people ofLoot (Lot)]. But We gave her glad tidings of Ishaaq (Isaac), andafter Ishaaq, of Ya‘qoob (Jacob).” [Hood 11:71] Raising the Voice If a person dreams that he raised his voice to people, he will dosomething bad, because Allah says: “Verily, the harshest of all voices is the braying of the asses.”[Luqmaan 31:19] If he dreams that he heard a voice, he will be appointed to a positionof authority, and if he dreams that someone insulted him, he will beharmed by him but then he will gain the upper hand.
