Before Sleep
Adhkar and etiquette for peaceful dreams
Dream Tabeer is not only about interpreting what happened after sleep. It also reminds you of simple Islamic habits before sleep: remembrance of Allah, protection, calmness, and avoiding panic about disturbing dreams.
Night routine
Prepare the heart gently before sleep with wudu, recitation, remembrance, and trust in Allah.
Protection
When disturbed by a dream, seek refuge with Allah and avoid spreading frightening details casually.
Recommended practices
Sleep in a state of wudu when possible.
Recite Ayat al-Kursi, Surah al-Ikhlas, Surah al-Falaq, and Surah an-Nas before sleeping.
Cup the hands, recite the last three surahs, and wipe over the body as taught in authentic narrations.
Lie on the right side and remember Allah before sleep.
If a dream frightens you, seek refuge with Allah, do not spread the dream, and turn away from what disturbed you.
