Sihr, Fear & Dreams
Black magic and dreams: a careful Islamic approach
Some people see snakes, knots, darkness, graves, insects, falling, or repeated frightening scenes and immediately fear sihr. Islam teaches protection and ruqyah, but it also teaches caution: dreams are not certain proof, and suspicion should not become harm.
Do not rush to certainty
Dream symbols may reflect fear, stress, waswas, illness, daily thoughts, or spiritual concern. Context matters.
Use lawful protection
Prayer, Quran, morning and evening adhkar, and ruqyah are the safe path. Avoid anything involving shirk or hidden claims.
What Dream Tabeer recommends
A frightening dream alone is not proof of black magic.
Do not accuse people, break families, or make major decisions because of a dream.
If you feel spiritual distress, keep up prayer, adhkar, Quran, and lawful ruqyah.
Avoid fortune tellers, magicians, talismans, and anyone who claims hidden knowledge.
If symptoms are severe, also seek qualified medical or mental-health support while keeping Islamic spiritual practice.
Islamic guidance
The guidance below is rewritten in Dream Tabeer's own words from widely accepted Islamic principles: avoid magicians, use lawful ruqyah, keep Quran and adhkar close, and do not treat dreams as certain proof against anyone.
Is sihr real?
Islamic teaching recognizes sihr as real, but a person should not turn every frightening dream into proof of magic. Dreams may come from fear, stress, daily thoughts, or shaytanic disturbance. Treat the matter seriously without becoming suspicious of people.
What is not allowed
Do not visit magicians, fortune tellers, charm sellers, or anyone who claims hidden knowledge. Do not use magic to undo magic. Evil is not removed by evil. The safe path is Quran, supplication, repentance, lawful ruqyah, and reliance upon Allah.
Lawful ruqyah
A Muslim may recite ruqyah for himself. The strongest recitations include al-Fatihah, Ayat al-Kursi, al-Ikhlas, al-Falaq, and an-Nas, along with authentic supplications. Ruqyah should be clear, understandable, and free from shirk.
Bad dreams
If a dream frightens you, seek refuge with Allah, avoid spreading it, turn away from the disturbing side, and do not build accusations or life decisions on it. A repeated dream can be interpreted carefully, but certainty belongs to Allah.
When to get help
If distress continues, combine spiritual care with practical help: prayer, adhkar, medical support when needed, trusted family, and qualified scholars. Islam does not require a person to ignore health, anxiety, trauma, or ordinary causes.
Describe the symbols, timing, and feeling without naming people. Dream Tabeer will search the book first and then interpret cautiously.
